Chris Monteiro, head of MasterCard Worldwide Communications, shares with us communication strategies companies should use in order to help drive growth. Monteiro is in charge of supporting global communications integration, helping the company achieve its vision of a world beyond cash. MasterCard, whose revenues have now reached 60% internationally after going public in 2006, has embraced purposeful listening to inform their business decisions. Listen as Monteiro provides concrete examples of how listening to consumer needs through various online platforms actually helps to improve products. Tracking over 80,000 related social media comments for their Mobile Payments option a few years ago helped MasterCard learn about the product’s reputation. In turn, MasterCard refined the product, delivering a solution that met each of their customer’s needs. AMA is a world-class leadership development provider in more than 40 countries worldwide. Pastor (Dr.) Fadele has authored an audiobook to change the society. Your 4 Fathers: And Their Kingdoms is a strategic message to a nation in need. It is a book authored to bring order at a prophetic level into the fabrics of the nations. It seeks to redress the challenge that Pastor John Hagee succinctly describes in the foreword, "Our society is crumbling from within because the role of the father as priest, prophet, provider and protector has been removed." The book prescribed a solution to this problem by defining and highlighting the calling and impact of the 4 types of fathers that everyone should have: A Biological Father, Tutorial Father, Spiritual Father and a Heavenly Father. Your 4 Fathers: And Their Kingdoms is useful as an audio in matters dealing with families and leadership at every layer of the society. It is a must-listen for every discerning heart. 1. CEO of Parkwood Corp, chairman and CEO of the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Foundation, Morton Mandel has reached great success in both his financial and personal life. In his book It's All About Who... Morton talks about his humble beginnings from working a summer job for his uncle in the wholesale auto parts business, to owning that same business with his brothers in July 1940. Though Morton joined the Army in World War II and left the business world behind him, it wasn't until after the war Morton and his brothers took a hard look at why their business was struggling to turn a major profit. Morton and his brothers realized that in an over-saturated market you have to come up with a different solution to attract customers; that sometimes business owners need to take a step back to see what their customers really need. What they learned propelled them into the future to live richer lives both monetarily and in the quality of life. Now Morton shares what he has learned about what a CEO is worth and how to hire and maintain "A employees". AMA is a world-class leadership development provider in more than 40 countries worldwide. The Cloud Computing is more involved in purchasing and consuming manners between providers and customers than other computing paradigms. The core of providing the required services in the Cloud is the on-demand manner, where the customer usually asks for a particular service and the provider has to provide the service with fulfilling its Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. The QoS requirements usually have two main parameters that are needed to be optimized (i.e. minimizing service's response time, and total paid cost). On the other hand, the provider has the right to gain a profit for delivering the service. Accordingly, identifying the convenient resource from the available pool of resources is considered the goal of any resource provisioning algorithm. RPOA is an algorithm that is developed to find the near optimal solution for the resource provisioning problem by achieving the availability and good utilization.
This book analyses the Platform-as-a-Service provider ServiceNow and documents the creation of a desktop application to mitigate the lack of functionality to import existing data in an automatic manner to the platform. Although ServiceNow tries to win its customers with performing applications provided by them, which handle data in non SQL related data structures, organisations presumably have valuable assets in existing yet most often legacy shadow database IT systems which they cannot leave behind while moving to the cloud. As a result, the migration causes those organisations to gain an additional system they need to keep track of instead of simplifying their IT infrastructure to just use the services provided by the cloud and leaving the old ones behind. The ServiceNow App Accelerator provides a solution with the help of the programming language ooRexx and the BSF4ooRexx framework.
This book gives eGovernment systems custodians guidelines on how to design an integration portal for government organizations in a semi-automated and secure way. The book presents a new approach that pursue main challenges to these systems and provides a complete solution to help overcoming these challenges. The solution takes the shape of a layered framework where each layer is counted as a prerequisite for the next one. Access to different resources that are offered by these systems should be controlled in a secure and efficient manner. The solution gives a customized type of access control that can comply with the access requirements to these resources. Another challenge that the solution tries to domesticate is automating service level agreements that are designed with each web service. The book focuses on giving a solution that can help accelerating the agreement and negotiation processes between the provider and the consumer of the web service. In general, the solution provided by this book can help eGovernment initiatives to move faster towards smart government systems where these systems should work in a coherent and reliable way to provide smart responses to its users.
Technology has always been used to enhance manual system making them automated, resulting to less effort, time and cost. It is meant to automate processes in many fields. By looking at the live examples of new ways of selling, buying, banking, transportation, marketing and even news distribution, it is apparent that everything had become much easier than before by utilizing various technologies. Technology, therefore, is a key of development in many aspects. This book discusses how we can utilize mobile devices and web service technology to enhance the current queue system which will help both the service provider (e.g. business) and the customer and increase productivity, performance and reduce cost and time for both parties. It is about a mobile application that helps the users to interact with the service provider by withdrawing a queue ticket without the need to be physically present in the service providers' premises. It enables customers (users) to book a queue remotely for any services of any registered organization with this solution. It is an enhancement of the current traditional Queue System.

Communication during flights is still rare and expensive. Direct users' connectivity to terrestrial or satellite networking is not feasible, available solutions based on Satellite Networking have many limitations. This book presents a feasibility study on a new proposal solution called Airborne Networking: it provides connectivity on board of airplanes, by using only flying airplanes, with airports that act as access points to terrestrial networks. A novel Software Tool analyses real flight data in order to understand the network scenario. It will be proven that Airborne Networking can guarantee better performance. A complete Airborne Network Design is presented: Wireless Mobile Mesh Network and Routing Protocols suitable for it have been addressed in detail. This book can be addressed in different modes: a comparative deep analysis of Airborne Networking, a provider of instruments and guidelines to address this problem, a proposal for a novel self-sustaining solution to expand communication in the sky. This book directs to all people interested in technology, to researchers aimed to expand communication, and also to Airline Companies launched towards new business opportunity.
