The SaaS deployment is the installation to delivery of software services in cloud computing infrastructure. SaaS deployment is initiated by a cloud service provider via a user requesting process, which is generally automated. SaaS is a combination of different type of components, application component, integration component, business component, and storage component. Component placement problem (CPP) concerns with finding the optimum set of VMs on which SaaS components can be placed such that all user requirements should be satisfied and maximizes the profit of the SaaS providers. In CPP, the solution of the problem is subject to a set of resource and SLA constraints. The CPP is presented as a linear programming problem. The CPP has been proven by researchers as an NP-complete, hence the Genetic Algorithm approach has been used to produce sub optimal solution

In third world countries due low level of education resulting in a large percentage of patients used inhaler incorrectly. The education level of patients had significant relationship with incorrect inhaler technique. Improving the education level of the society will improve inhaler techniques. The study is indicating the need to promote education level in third world countries and also awake up call for the health poly makers to introduce health education program about asthma and inhaler technique in their priority list. The short-term solution to this problem is effective patient and provider education. Health education efforts to teach patients how to use inhaler correctly should be stepped up. One example is use of labels with correct technique instructions on inhaler devices. There should be complete descriptions of inhaler use in text-books of both nurses and doctors.

Communication during flights is still rare and expensive. Direct users' connectivity to terrestrial or satellite networking is not feasible, available solutions based on Satellite Networking have many limitations. This book presents a feasibility study on a new proposal solution called Airborne Networking: it provides connectivity on board of airplanes, by using only flying airplanes, with airports that act as access points to terrestrial networks. A novel Software Tool analyses real flight data in order to understand the network scenario. It will be proven that Airborne Networking can guarantee better performance. A complete Airborne Network Design is presented: Wireless Mobile Mesh Network and Routing Protocols suitable for it have been addressed in detail. This book can be addressed in different modes: a comparative deep analysis of Airborne Networking, a provider of instruments and guidelines to address this problem, a proposal for a novel self-sustaining solution to expand communication in the sky. This book directs to all people interested in technology, to researchers aimed to expand communication, and also to Airline Companies launched towards new business opportunity.

This book gives eGovernment systems custodians guidelines on how to design an integration portal for government organizations in a semi-automated and secure way. The book presents a new approach that pursue main challenges to these systems and provides a complete solution to help overcoming these challenges. The solution takes the shape of a layered framework where each layer is counted as a prerequisite for the next one. Access to different resources that are offered by these systems should be controlled in a secure and efficient manner. The solution gives a customized type of access control that can comply with the access requirements to these resources. Another challenge that the solution tries to domesticate is automating service level agreements that are designed with each web service. The book focuses on giving a solution that can help accelerating the agreement and negotiation processes between the provider and the consumer of the web service. In general, the solution provided by this book can help eGovernment initiatives to move faster towards smart government systems where these systems should work in a coherent and reliable way to provide smart responses to its users.

Research Paper (undergraduate) from the year 2008 in the subject Business economics - Business Management, Corporate Governance, grade: 1,0, University of applied sciences, Munich, language: English, abstract: HP is an international giant in the information technology industry. The company offers a wide product portfolio from personal computers (PC), notebooks, serves, storage, printers, scanners, and digital camera to IT services. The company features a phenomenal growth history and has developed from a 'garage' with a working capital of $538 in 1938 to a leading global provider with $100 billion revenue. However the global competition becomes fiercer today and HP has to face with different competitors in all business segments. Can HP continue its success story and beat the global competitors? This question will be tried to answer in the present study. In this study the internal and external environment factors effecting HP's business are analyzed. Thereby industry's economic features and competitive environment, e.g. market segments, market size and growth, trends, competition, and driving forces are studied. Moreover, the SWOT of HP and its biggest global competitors as well as financial performance of HP over the last three business years (2005 - 2007) are analyzed. The diversified business portfolio of HP is evaluated using the Nine Cell Matrix and concrete recommendations for the senior management board of HP are provided. It could be shown that despite fierce competition HP could remain its pole position in the world market. HP is worldwide No. 1 in the printing, PC, and server market and No. 2 in storage business. HP exhibited an impressive financial performance in the last 3 years. For the future HP should intensify strategic alliances and partnerships and boost the acquisition to strengthen competitive capability and to gain market share quickly. The company should follow strategies like rapid expanding into new geography markets, rapid product development and push the product innovation, penetration also in low-end market segments, expanding into online sale and business, and offering complete solution based on broad portfolio in order to meet customer needs. Moreover HP should improve its supply chain management, optimize manufacturing cost, and strengthen the effective marketing and channel partnership to boost the completive strengths.

A complete guide to understanding, designing, and deploying Layer 2 VPN technologies and pseudowire emulation applications Evaluate market drivers for Layer 2 VPNs Understand the architectural frame-work and choices for Layer 2 VPNs, including AToM and L2TPv3 Grasp the essentials of Layer 2 LAN and WAN technologies Examine the theoretical and operational details of MPLS and LDP as they pertain to AToM Understand the theoretical and operational details of Layer 2 protocols over L2TPv3 in IP networks Learn about Layer 2 VPN bridged and routed interworking and Layer 2 local switching Understand the operation and application of Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS) Learn about foundation and advanced AToM and L2TPv3 topics through an extensive collection of case studies The historical disconnect between legacy Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN solutions has forced service providers to build, operate, and maintain separate infrastructures to accommodate various VPN access technologies. This costly proposition, however, is no longer necessary. As part of its new Unified VPN Suite, Cisco Systems® now offers next-generation Layer 2 VPN services like Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol version 3 (L2TPv3) and Any Transport over MPLS (AToM) that enable service providers to offer Frame Relay, ATM, Ethernet, and leased-line services over a common IP/MPLS core network. By unifying multiple network layers and providing an integrated set of software services and management tools over this infrastructure, the Cisco® Layer 2 VPN solution enables established carriers, IP-oriented ISP/CLECs, and large enterprise customers (LECs) to reach a broader set of potential VPN customers and offer truly global VPNs. Layer 2 VPN Architectures is a comprehensive guide to consolidating network infrastructures and extending VPN services. The book opens by discussing Layer 2 VPN applications utilizing both AToM and L2TPv3 protocols and comparing Layer 3 versus Layer 2 provider-provisioned VPNs. In addition to describing the concepts related to Layer 2 VPNs, this book provides an extensive collection of case studies that show you how these technologies and architectures work. The case studies include both AToM and L2TPv3 and reveal real-world service provider and enterprise design problems and solutions with hands-on configuration examples and implementation details. The case studies include all Layer 2 technologies transported using AToM and L2TPv3 pseudowires, including Ethernet, Ethernet VLAN, HDLC, PPP, Frame Relay, ATM AAL5 and ATM cells, and advanced topics relevant to Layer 2 VPN deployment, such as QoS and scalability.
